Why English Teacher Heart?
I love my job. When I stop to think for a minute, I realize that I love every job I've ever had. This includes working the drive-thru at Arby's. This includes working archives at the Giovale Library at Westminster College (go Griffins!). In part, I love to work. I've also been fortunate, blessed, to have a lot of great jobs and work with a lot of amazing people. I love to work because I love to learn. The two concepts are inexplicably tied together. As I work, I meet new people. I encounter new problems. And each of these encounters teaches me something. I started using the hashtag #englishteacherheart on Twitter because I realize that even though I am currently working as an Innovation Specialist, my heart will always be in the classroom.
